Rawa Dosai
Semolina Pancake

Serves: 6
3 cups rawa
½ cup rice (soaked for 4 hours)
5 green chillies (chopped)
¼ coconut
1 tsp cumin seeds
Salt to taste

Take a clean cloth and put rawa in it. Tie the cloth and steam the rawa for 15 minutes. Cool and if lumps have formed, break them up. Grind rice to a fine paste using a little water. Remove coconut from its shell and cut coconut kernel into ½ cm pieces. Mix steamed rawa, rice paste, salt, green chillies, coconut pieces and cumin seeds. Add enough water to make a batter of pouring consistency. Now proceed as for dosais. Serve hot with chutney and sambaar.
